In 2005, he was awarded the Innovation Prize of the State of Baden-Württemberg.

With the invention of the duplex material, the creative artist from the Ostalbkreis region has optimally supplemented the economic advantages of his double folding system.

The inside of the tanks is made of stainless steel, the outside consists of galvanized steel as carrier material. Quality and stability remain the same, however, the material costs can be reduced enormously due to the significantly lower use of stainless steel.
