Stirring techniques for biogas plants
Since Xaver Lipp applied for and was granted several patents on biogas technology at the beginning of the 1970s, he has been constantly thinking about how the liquid biomass can be optimally stirred and has applied for several patents for his ideas.
Since 1995 -‘shaft agitator
In 1997, he applied for a patent for his technical idea – the shaft agitator – which he received just two years later and which is very successfully installed in biogas plants all over the world.
The liquid biomass is optimally mixed. The mass can either be pumped from top to bottom and mixed or from bottom to top – depending on individual requirements and substrate.
The technology invented by Xaver Lipp is very successfully installed in biogas plants all over the world.
